of beautiful Aubusson Tapestries.

Aubusson Tapestries

  These Aubusson tapestries are hand woven flat weaves or wall hangings  that incorporate very delicate designs
and pictures. Many different coloured threads are woven into the piece requiring an inordinate amount of time and skill.
While using the same weaving method as Aubusson rugs, the yarns for tapestries are much finer.
Usually Aubusson tapestries contain more than 100 colours, which result in a grand appearance.

The tapestries take 2 - 3 months to make and prices include freight within Australia. Custom designs available.
